Sting, I just went back and re-read my exchanges with SS, and the only time I called him a nuthugger was in my first post to him in which his response to me did not indicate he was offended by the term.

I dont think thats what offended SS to be quite frank.....I think it was more the content of my opinions toward the JMM-Pac matchup that got him on edge.
Like I said, the term nuthugger is thrown around loosely in this forum to mean that you're biased for that particular fighter.
SS has a history of rooting for Pac. He is a hardcore Pac fan, and its why I threw in the term to make light of what he initially said.

Again, no evil or malicious intentions on my part to ridicule him on the personal level.
......although I could see that if SS did'nt have a history of siding with Pac, I could see where he could be offended.

SS, if you were offended by the term "nuthugger" my apologies, it was not meant to be offensive, but in good ribbing nature between ESB brothers.:thumbsup

That's what got him in trouble in round 1 of their 1st fight - he was trying to be the aggressor.

if he does what he said he will do in the first round, then he won't make it to his "back to counterpunching stage"

I always find it funny reading posts which insinuate Marquez may knock PacMan out in the later rounds come March 15.

Although a knockout in any fight shouldn't be discounted, what sticks to mind here is that most of the people who say this are also the ones who claim that JMM "schooled" PacMan in the first fight, that it was total domination and so and so. If it was such a schooling and total domination yet Marquez didn't come near knocking down much less knocking out PacMan, what is it this time in the rematch that would make Marquez suddenly knock the **** out of PacMan? Four years of absorbing big shots and headbutts from hall-of-hame bound guys like Terdsak Jandaeng and Jimrex Jaca? Or maybe pedestrian wins over elite contenders Orlando Salido and Victor Polo?

Marquez was at the top of his game then, and he couldn't do it. It wasn't even a schooling like these guys repeat over and over here, as if by repeating it people would think it's the truth.

Total schooling is what Winky did to Tito. What happened in the first fight is a tightly contested back and forth war. Marquez was able to stand up to Pac's assault and counterpunch, but it wasn't the easy out some of these people paint it out to be.

JMM knock PacMan out? Maybe, if Pac decides all of a sudden not to use the hooks he has shown in the last two Morales and second Barrera fights. The fact remains that Marquez fighting against the jab-straight left wasn't able to dominate, and now faces a bigger punch, from both hands.

It's not a question of what Marquez will opt to do against Pac. Pac will walk through his shots and wear him down. Head movements won't be the answer this time, because Pac will dish out those hooks as well.

PacMan will knock Marquez out in the early rounds, three by the latest.

    Divac,

On the other hand what you are saying is probably the opposite of WHAT IS REALLY happening. There is a poll about a month ban bet.

There were over 30 or 40 fans who casted their vote. GUESS how many JMM fans who signed in for JMM.

The last time I checked there was less than five for JMM.:deal
So if you think Pac is nervous you are OBVIOUSLY WRONG!!!!

What you are imagining is the total OPPOSITE of what's is happening in reality!!!

Lastly, you may not be aware of it but IF you read all the losses of JMM. They all claim JMM was robbed in those losses. DAMN! If it's true JMM's record is probably ...55-0!!!! :patsch :huh :patsch :huh

Correct me if I'm wrong but I still have to read a thread which claims, YEAH! right JMM lost to better fighter for that fight. None of them coz most if NOT all believe JMM NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER really lost at all.

Coz it's the damn judge was not looking and the referree's fault. In other words he's like superman disguised as JMM :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl

jmm trained well. He will last probably till the 8th round! If he is EXTREEMELY LUCKY!!!! EXTEEMLY LUCK by JMM will lead to Pac win via UD only...

And then what do we hear from JMM FANS?! JMM was robbed!!!!

You know why? DID THEY EVER EVER EVER EVER admitted JMM lost?!
It's always the judges and the referee's fault.

So if pac wins via UD or worse via SD, WHAT MAKES you think that JMM fans will not they they were ROBBED again!!!

After any JMM loss. JMM fans are predictable! They always say..

    WE WERE ROBBED!!!!!

Get a grip Silvermags, I've already explained my stance on banishment bets.
I dont do them, and I believe most knowleadgeable posters around here who are here to post boxing, dont do them.

Could it be that those picking JMM are not showing up in your banishment poll because they they want to be here and want others to be here to talk boxing?

Look around the history posts of those picking JMM to beat Pac. Most range their topics and talk about other things beside Pac-JMM.
In other words, most of those backing JMM in this fight, are the knowleadgeable ones that post in a variety of boxng topics.

It has been said many times, the hardestcore of Pac fans not need get into these banishment bets, they're out of here when Pac loses to JMM anyways.

Its just an ego trip to Pac fans, "oh, you're afraid to back your boy!"

Its not about that to those that are here to enjoy talking boxing.
Why should I make this banishment thread with you when I want you right here bowing down to JMM afterward?

Take a hike with your banishment bet idea, its silly!

Maybe an avatar bet is acceptable to divac. What do you think divac? You can make a bet with someone with whom you argue the most. It's either mirani, silvermags or if you want, PacDbest.

I'll be fine without any bets thankyou.
Its not about not being confident in my prediction, these kinds of bets just dont interest me.
I have no interest in seeing any of these Pac hardcores sporting a JMM avatar or any kind of embarrassing avatar.

A JMM victory will suffice for me!:deal

Even Morales had his best moments countering the straight left with the right hand.
