Chad Dawson ko'd by Edison Miranda while sparring

This rumor is 100% true. Hard to believe after the horrible performance Miranda put on tonight. Expect Ward to win by KO. If miranda dropped Dawson, Ward is gonna destroy him.

 

After what just happened a lot of the doubters gotta at least take this into consideration! I know after watching Ward hold Dawson to only 29 total landed shots, knocking him down 3 times, and forcing him to say no mas it looks like this is totally plausible!!

Of course I believed Boxing Insider from the start, and posted as much in this thread, when I first read it yesterday!

Holy crap ward ko's Dawson a guy who went 12 with adamek lol! Hard to think the weight wasnt and issue....on the flip side what resume mr Andre has developed.

Yes I am, have been defending the sweet science over there pretty much exclusively here lately.

Yes weight may have been some of the issue, but Chad looked noticeably bigger then Ward to me, he didn't look like he had much problem at all putting the weight back on. Honestly I believe Ward does the same thing to Dawson at any weight.

 

Hopkins had avoided Chad for a long time cuz he knew.... Weight, concussion, whatever I think Chad was broken tonight. Some lesser fighters have done more against Ward than he was able to do.

 

Ya, Chad had more problems than merely his chin. He looked completely and utterly lost and I don't think fighting at any other weight would have helped him. Ward might have the best jab in boxing. Almost every guy he fights is predicted to outjab him and he absolutely schools them.

 

NBA admitted that Paul Williams told him it took him three rounds to recover from the KD in the first Martinez fight. Some people thought Chad took the second round. He went down in the third and the fight was never the same after. I don't mean to discredit what Ward did here either but I just don't think Chad should have been in the ring at that weight and especially this close to a sever concussion.

 

Dawson vs. Miranda at 175 to settle this matter, loser retires?
