    As per The Diaz Brothers Twitter account, Nate Diaz who will be challenging for the UFC Lightweight Championship in December on FOX, apparently was the primary training partner of Andre Ward for his fight last night with "Bad" Chad Dawson. Here is the Tweet;

    Diaz Brothers ‏@DiazBrothers209 RT @CesarGracieBJJ:

    This is not the first time either of the Diaz Brothers (Nick or Nate) have spent a training camp sparring with Ward, although usually when they do it's for one of the brothers MMA fights.

    Just thought this was a kinda cool factoid, and wanted to share with the group :good

    WAR Andre! WAR Nick! WAR Nate! :bbb

    lol...Nate can't really box. He gets away with a lot of stuff because he has a chin and fights a bunch of MMA scrubs.

    Andre Ward has good grappling skills aswell, sparring with MMA fighters may be a good tactic.

    That had no bearing whatsoever. Ward didn't school & stop Dawson because he trained with some inferior athlete from outside his sport.

    Well he has great boxing...for MMA :lol: All I know is both Nick and Nate have trained extensively with Ward, and I've even heard rumors Nick has held his own with Andre on more then one occasion. Anyway, Nate must be good enough, if Ward was using him as his primary training partner, I mean it's not like he can't hire anybody he wants.

    Eh...Cesar Gracie is prone to hyperbole and flat-out lying on occasion. I wouldn't be surprised if they sparred a couple rounds, but nothing more.

    I think they are both equally outstanding, remember when Nick was (Strikeforce WW Champion) wanting to try his hand at the sweet science? Cesar was getting fights lined up with Jeff Lacey and Fernando Vargas, don't know how well that would have turned out lol. But I would have been rooting for him, Diehard Diaz Brother fan here, favorite fighters (MMA or Boxing) hands down.

    Big fan of both guys. Always in shape, always ready to fight. Whats there to hate?

    That Nick Diaz piece they did on Primetime vs Condit was one of the most eye opening things I've ever seen on an athlete in my life.

    True...very true. Although The Diaz brothers Twitter account re-tweeted it, and I don't think they would lie just to make themselves look better. There not those type of people, pretty straightforward, tell it like it is types.

    Same here man, nothing but respect for both men!

    Did you notice how considerably shorter Nick's camera time was to that of Carlos'? Nick just really doesn't like the spotlight, just wants to be the best and that's it lol.

    Also don't know if you noticed, but the cameras didn't visit anybody else in Nick's life except his brother and teammates/coach. Not his mom (that I can remember) or anything. Well I take that back, they interviewed one of his elementary school teachers, who said he even was a little bad ass dude, with the mean mug even back then lol.
