    As others said, DLH was done long before Pac we just didn't know how done.

    I did list all of them, De Le Hoya did fight Forbes @ 150 not 154 and had to go down in weight @ 147 to fight Pacquiao.
    Pacquiao was the huge under dog in fight.

    Everyone except DLH, Schaefer, Dundee, Nacho, the bookies, and huge majority of posters here. Meanwhile Ward was 3/1, then went to 4/1 after the sparring rumors broke

    Lets be real here. De La Hoya was terrible at 150 pounds against Forbes and could barely pull the trigger. At that point Forbes had been washed up since before the Contender, last holding a title at 130 pounds 8 years earlier.

    Add that to the fact that De La Hoya hadn't made 147 in the 7 years before fighting Pacquiao. De La Hoya wasn't just shot, he was weight drained and shot... and fighting a prime Pacquiao. Arum, Roach, and Pacquiao knew EXACTLY what they were doing and probably had a huge ****ing PARTAY with strippers and blow when they found out De La Hoya actually agreed to 147!

    That being said, Dawson was weight drained as ****. There was a huge difference between the Dawson who beat Hopkins and the Dawson who lost his legs in the 3rd round vs. Ward. That would have been a much more competitive fight at 175 pounds, but I think we would have the same winner... just not by TKO.

    DLH was good enough to win 4 rounds off Floyd just earlier, and was favored over Pac. Dawson was last at 168 6 1/2 yrs ago, unlike DLH accomplished nothing at that weight, and was a 4/1 underdog. DLH didn't look good vs Forbes, but it's not like Dawson fought someone at 171 first, so we can compare.

    pac fought like a freakin warrior. dawson was even more drained than odlh and odlh was at least punching, dawson was so mental and so drained he was punching like 10 punches a round, no ****.

    pacquiao wins this one.
