Andre Ward deserves NO CREDIT for beating dawson He is a disgrace to the sport

I agree in that Chad was drained!

That's on Chad though..he is the one who called Ward out for a fight at 168, after beating Chad. That's on Chad. He shouldn't have moved down a weight divison.

I guess Ward isn't stupid enough to do that.

 

Man, Dawson announced it post-fight against hopkins. On air in front of everyone. I'm pretty sure he specifically said 168. Then he backtracked after the fact. No doubt in my mind the weight drain had an effect on Dawson last night, but if you offer it up on a platter, you can't be surprised when someone takes the offer.

 

Lot of butthurt caused by Ward's performance last night. That's how we know it was legit.

Btw, I missed Ward saying that. Was it in the post-fight interview?

 

True dat but he then asked for a 170 pound catchweight instead and Ward didnt agree with, not blaming Ward just saying that Dawson didnt got what he wanted.

 

It was a good win but not a GREAT win. Dawson was drained and also looked slow compared to his previous fights.

What an utterly stupid thing to say. Just cause a guy as good as Ward dominated Dawson, u simply assume many others can.

 

Not a great win but was a very good win for Ward tho considering the circumstances with the weight issues, but it was a brilliant performance by him none the less, you cannot take that away from him.

His best win is still against Froch IMO.

 

Why you mad? Dawson didn't just agree to that fight... he ****in called out all the terms in specific detail live on HBO! Easy fight to take if you are Ward. Yer boy lives to fight another day, he's still the champ at LHW.

Agreed, except I'd say Ward, being only 3 yrs removed from MW, would be too much for Sir Gayo. However, the young guns like Golovkin, JR, Sturm, Quillian, and NiJikam would probably overwhelm or straight up smoke a wieght drained Ward.
But......Dawson dug his own grave......now he's got to lie in it.:think
