Is it possible Ward could become greater than Mayweather?

i would love to see Ward fight Dirrell. Ward is the smarter fighter but Dirrell is more gifted. I thought he beat AA and Froch easier than Ward did, even though Froch robbed him of his victory.

I think Ward is more athletic than Dawson. Dawson have a counter punching style where is mostly stationary. Ward is all over the place leaping in and out. Dirrell is very fast, hits pretty hard and coordinated to be equally effective in his switch hitting. I don't know if Dirrell will get KO by ward mainly of his flee of foot.

It will be interest to see how Ward will do against a fighter that likes to fight on the backfoot and awkward as Dirrell.

Mayweather is not great. He avoided too many fighters.

  5. To answer this ridiculous question, Mayweather all day long. He's the best boxer in the last 20 years hands down. He is a boxing genius.

I say Ward should move up to LHW sometime in the near future, maybe win a belt there. It's really too early to say whether or not he's an ATG, he is only 28 after all.

Can't see it. But let's say Ward does this, how far away would he be-

    2013
-Drop down to 160 and beat Martinez for the Middleweight title (after Sergio beats Chavez)
-Move back up to Super Middleweight and defend his title against Andre Dirrell (after Dirrell has had a tune up fight and wins in impressive fashion).
-Drops back down to Middleweight and defends against and defeats Gennady Golokvin (after Golovkin looks sensational against fellow top 10 middleweights)

    2014
-Moves up to Light Heavyweight and beats Chad Dawson again for The RING LHW belt (becoming the 1st man to hold 3 Ring belts at the same time)
    - Defends his LHW twice more and unifies a couple more alphabet titles (say against Cloud and Cleverly).

    2015
-Moves up to Cruiserweight and wins another Ring title (against Hernandez if he's still The Champ)

How far behind would he be then? :think

  9. Go on then bawbag, give us your list.:patsch

Ward started slowly, i mean Floyd was lineal champ at an age of 21. It will be very hard for Ward.

Who did he avoided? Only legit one was Margarito and even that he had a good excuse bc he got to fight Oscar instead. Bob Arum was never going to let him fight Oscar. or Cotto.

i suppose he could, probably wont though.
for me he would have to unify at LHW, win a cruiser title and probably 5 or 6 solid defences, this would put him on about par.
