    When fights get close to a sellout, promoters will almost always jump the gun and announce it as a sellout.

    Crowd will be big there tomorrow.

    I hope Oscar learns his lesson. Never go up against a super fight, especially when your event is considered a mismatch. Both events are in the same city to boot. :patsch

    Last official number I heard was 13K and change tickets sold. How close is that too selling out the MGM Grand?

    They can put some covers over a section or two and the place looks full at 13k.

    A complete, standing room sellout at MGM is 16,000 or so.

    Well that was last night during the special Thursday Night Fights broadcast on ESPN2, so that gave them roughly 48 hours too sell 3,000 more tickets. Not impossible to pull off, with the exceptional undercard and Co-Main Event :hey
