Not really, it was a comprehensive beating.

After 11 rounds of doing nothing Chavez managed to knock Sergio down and even then he got straight back up and resumed his domination of the fight, despite being near exhaustion from the pummelling he was dishing out.

    Absolutely not, Chavez got schooled.

Wouldn't surprise me if it happens though, not sure why anybody would want to see it but they will.

it'll happen; the deserving part is debatable but in the end the $ is the king

A rematch is going to happen whether we like it or not. Martinez still wins
but I give Chavez better shot the second time around.

I'd rather see Golovkin-Martinez with Junior facing Quillin, Pirog, or Macklin to earn another shot.

But, Serg is at the end of the career and got his status the hard way, so I can't blame him for cashing out big.

Doesn't deserve it, but the payday will justify it from Martinez's perspective. The fight shouldn't take place anywhere above the middleweight limit though.

I want Martinez to fight GGG, but there is a strong chance for a rematch. $$$$$.

Martinez will make up to $5 Million in a rematch. He'll make 1/5 of that against GGG or anyone else from 160-168.

Only if the fight is in Buenos Aires. With Martinez brother as the ref. And Sexy Sergios cousins are the judges.

I don't think he deserves a rematch. He got his ass kicked for 12 1/2 rounds. All Martinez will do in a rematch is take a few rounds off to conserve his energy (since he nearly won a shut out taking a few rounds off won't hurt him) and he won't allow himself to get in trouble like that again.

How did you keep them engaged for the other 11 1/2 rounds of schooling?
