Canelo is the real deal can beat Floyd @154

He beat a blown up jr welter, this fight doesn't mean much.

 

Floyd's not even active. Something more realistic is Canelo vs. Sergio at 154 especially when you consider the fact that they're coming off a nice win. Sergio deserves a big payday.

 

Don't let Sergio anywhere near him. It would be Calzaghe-Lacey all over again.

 

Chavez Jr. was also a welterweight a few years ago...but he's almost too big for Middleweight.

Canelo came in overweight for a 150 lb fight against Hatton. The guy was a full-fledge Jr. Middleweight fighting in a sham fight against a fat 140lb fighter.

 

Yeah I think Mayweathers last comment saying he is not interested in boxing no more is the seal of a retirement or big payday down the road, he ain't coming back soon, I think we will end up having a martinez fight sometime @ 154... but canelo still has some good heads he can ass and experience to gain with Cotto Trout winner, Lara Vanes winner, and a P4P great like May or Sergio for a defining victory or to be exposed as average.

 

Canelo doesn't fear for his health and he gets my respect...he signed to fight Kirkland and Williams, two fights that were risky.

 

No Cintron is not a natural 154 pounder. His two fights before he fought Canelo he weighed 149 1/4 and 149 1/2. His power and strenght never went up with up and his weak chin didn't get any better.

Oh and Canelo now is only 22. His body was still growing(and still is) and right now its very clear that Canelo is a big strong 154 pounder.

**** Chad Dawson was fight at 168 two fight before he beat Adamek for the Light Heavyweight title and before that he was fighting at 160. So is Dawson not a 175 pounder?

 

This fight is what GBP is secretly planning for 2 years.

 

Canelo need to take the Trout Cotto Winnier.. My guy Canelo still has holes in his game.. Money Man loves holes.. and knows how to exploit them.. and His Defence is still nasty..

Canelo has grew on me. I like the guy, but damn can we at least see him beat a B level fighter before we say hes ready to dethrone Floyd.
