Pavlik avoiding Winky ...ha ha ha...Winky has no right to deny fights like he denied a fight W Kessler...Winky is boring and has no fan base ...And who has he beat lately?

 

winky is a good fighter
drew with taylor, lost a close descion to hopkins and a fight with pavlik , even though he technically does not deserve it, i would not begrudge him having a shot at pavlik.

i think it would be a good fight.

but you could not complain if arum took his star vechile through lockett first.

as to greg leon, he just sucks his favourite fighters dicks and his website is becoming a propaganda site for his sweethearts and closest and dearest.

This is not so much about Pavlik ducking Winky this is about marketing Pavlik to be a star. Fights with Gary Lockett, Giovanni Lorenzo, John Duddy and Arthur Abraham will all be slugfest ending in big KO's. and would give a lot of hype to Pavlik career. Pavlik vs Winky will be a boxing match interesting but no fire works and with not much hype coming out the fight for Pavlik if he wins.:deal

The same haters were saying Pavlik didnt have a chance with Taylor the first time now he has no chance with Winky? Give me a break.

 

Really, it amazes me how people continue to think that Winky avoided DLH. I mean Winky had so much to gain by getting DLH in the ring. He would've had the biggest pay day of his life along with putting another ATG on his resume.

 

Another person calling for Pavlik to fight up in weight BEFORE he has his first title defense inked at 160. Give it a rest guys.

 

Is this the guy that did the 'drive by ambush' of Arum? He blew his chance to get some real info. What an axehat. If Winky's team waved the proper money at Arum, his promotor cut senses would start to tingle.....

That said, IF this is true, maybe Arum senses a little desperation and is playing Winky?

 

I love your 2009 picks, but I don't think Palik is moving to 168 that soon. Plus, if JC has vacated his belts by then, I don't see that fight happening anyhow. I've said it before, Pavlik needs a little time to put on the extra muscle for 168 before going to the top names in that division. He only entered the ring at 169 in the Taylor rematch and that was at 166. He has been working on keeping his weight down. But, then again, I think weigh in's should be no more than 4 hours before fight time....

Wright is the kind of fighter that just stands in front of you, you can't do that against Pavlik otherwise you're going to pay dearly.
