He looked awesome last night, all be it against a faded Morel, but to put that kind of beating on a tough ******* like Morel and make him quit was quality.

He's like a 118 version of Margarito, but seems more defensively astute, the body shots are sickening, throws a minimum of 100 punches a round  really exciting to watch, Leo has a bright future.

    Thoughts guys?

For anybody who missed the fight..

Looked quality last night. Really surprised me how Morel stuck around those body shots looked sickening. They were lifting Morel off the ground a good few times. For someone who throws so much he really doesn't waste his punches very accurate fighter.

Having a hard time even thinking of fighter who commit to the body like he does never mind ones that do it well.

I'm pretty sure Santa Cruz will move upto the more lucrative 122 division over the next 6-12 months.

Yeah, they said he is stepping up. That was really impressive, embarrassed to say it is the first i've seen of him, relentless body shots tenderising his opponents torso, i'm another new fan:good

Yeh he looked monstrous last night, the snap on the left-hook was great. Be interesting to see how he handles a mover and if he moves up to 122, him vs Mares would be war!
