We've had alot of hard chined fighters. Rob Reid, McCullough, Skelton, Junior Witter and I can name mo.
none of the fighters you put up were chinless with the exception of herbie hide. johnny nelson was stopped once in about 60 fights as was unbeaten and retired unbeaten in his last 10 years as a pro fighting in every country. for example johnny nelson fought a prime sanders in south africa giving away a lot of weight and was never floored.
Haye: no, but he doesn't have the best chin in the world Khan: Officially? No. Technically? Yeah...just ask Willie L.:deal
Pretty much on the money imo. :good That euro style however is less common than it once was due to exposure to big name american fighters (usa and south america). We saw it at the weekend. Everyone (including myself) was going on about Hayes poor defense due to his low left hand but in the end it was Enzo's stiff upright style and HIS low left that was a strong contributing factor in his defeat. Many modern brit fighters are showing better defensive techniques nowadays. I suppose imitation is the purest form of flattery I suppose.
