Kessler vs Magee....

Rather see him dominate AA if I'm honest if groves doesn't get there first. Seriously though magee is a decent contender- people like him and bika deserve our respect. Aggravates me when people act like any fighter not at the top of the tree is some sort of worthless can.

 

Kessler is shot. I expected this sort of fight, and it's not awful, considering. Magee is a top 10-15 SMW. Sure, there were hopes for a Kessler-Froch fight, but Carl didn't want to jeopardize the Bute rematch.

I'm fine with this fight. I also heard the purses were pretty lucrative.

MAgee is no spring chicken. Kessler is the younger man. I fancy Kessler for mid to late round stoppage.

 

And it'll be in Denmark.

It is an interesting fight all considering. I hope Kessler shows he is back better than ever and gives Magee a lesson.

If he is not absolutely on top of his game and has been training on new techniques etc (this is necessary to keep motivation up) then it could be a long night for Mikkel.

 

Kessler should win this, but I would not be surprised id the fight is really close. Magee knows how to fight and he's game. He's a good challenger.

Do any of you actually read what you write? Theres some serious nonsense put on here. Outside Ward, Froch, Butewho else would Magee's team pick? Given the fact its him who was to pick a top 15 WBA ranked opponent to fight for the belt.


As said before he ran Froch to the wire, Bute to the 10th although at no point looked like stopping him. Went on to fight a nobody Barboza, & demolished Markkusen in Bute fashion.

My guess is he will give Kessler equally a good run as he did Froch, Bute. From somewhere Magee seems to have found arrogance and confidence, this will either make or brake him.

Kessler needs to build up to a rematch vs Froch and to be honest a fight against Magee isnt a sure victory

Kessler is still the man to beat if you want to be nr. 1 in supermiddle.
