I noticed he had really thin hair and a good amount of balding during one of his last fight telecasts. I was actually kind of shocked cause I didn't remember him being that bald.

Here's an article that is posted on the main page, where it mentions that Steward is in hospital and is going to undergo surgery for an unnamed disease:

MONTREAL (September 19, 2012) – In a few more weeks, Groupe Yvon Michel (GYM) will begin its ninth year of operation. As previously announced, the GYM Boxing Series “Fast & Furious” is back with an improved version 3.0 at the Bell Centre in Montreal, presented by Mise-O-Jeu and Videotron, supported by the Bell Centre and Evenko.

    Stevenson vs. George

The main event of the evening is the long awaited International Boxing Federation (IBF) super middleweight title eliminator showdown between Quebec favorite Adonis “Superman” Stevenson (18-1-0, 15 KO) and American invader Donovan “Da Bomb” George (23-2-1 , 20 KO). The winner between these two powerful hitters will become the mandatory challenger to IBF champion Carl Froch, from England. George is currently at training camp in Florida and

Yeah, I think it was the Pac-Bradley fight. Steward hair looked thin and he had alot of gray.
I even mentioned it to my brother that Emmanuel seemed to had aged 10+ years overnight.
Could be he was already going through cancer treatments.

I noticed it too, but figured that it was just that he was 68 and that some people lose their hair quickly once it starts to go.

Too bad. He missed Ward-Dawson and Lampley mentioned it and moved on. Thought it was just the flu or something ya know, a bad day. Hope he gets it together...

He definitely needs to take a break. His work schedule is nuts for a 68 year old man.
