I was impressed with haye on his last outing. I never really followed him too much, but I can see him making WAVES in the HW division. He is extremely quick and has fast heavy hands. I wouldn't let peter get in there with haye unless he loses about 20lbs and runs MILES to get his stamina up. Haye is extremly athletic also, unlike most of the heavies out there excluding Klits.

If he means Odlanier Solis, he also beat Savon in the amateurs.

He is a tub of lard though. He won't get anywhere near a HW title. You can quote me on that.

Haye is too small to be a factor in the HW division. Jirov and JC Gomez were both better cruiserweights than Haye, and they were/are both pretty average as HW's

His speed and size is his advantage. He will land at will against most the fat ****s.

Solis looked awful against Julius Long. Which is the only time I have seen him in action.

The way he talks he better be the real deal at HW.
If it shows later on that he´s pulling a James Toney on me...calling out this and that to back out later, I will root against him nomatter who he fights.

I´m trying to give this guy a real chance, but he already makes it very hard with that smack talking, before he hasn´t even seen a good HW on a postcard.

He´s totally unproven at HW, and by talking that way he wishes to move himself towards a title fight sooner than he has earned...

Very good for him if he can back it up...than this cocky attitude might apply to a lot of fans...but if not he will end up a bigger jackass than Briggs.

Thats what i think.IMHO Haye would have KOed both Maskaev and Peter within 3 rounds the way they came plodding out of their corners

    it was for the press.

we all talked to david haye when he used to post on the british section of ESB and he is a good down to earth character.

he has even plugged eastsideboxing on live tv.

    BREAKING NEWS
London - HW pretender David Haye doing a sit-in protesting those damn lazy disgraceful HWs. He said, I quote "I can beat Wlad sitting on my arse! He's not 40 and no feather-fisted SWM ! YO!" (Associated press)

    Yippee!

Big ****in' deal. So Haye mentioned ESB on live TV, now I can sleep at night.....................

The point is Haye would sound a bit more credible if he actually had a few HW wins over reasonable competition, but he doesn't. :yep

Wlad is boring. I demand more from my heavyweight champion.

Haye has balls, he'd make a better watch than any of the guys holding belts right now. End of story.

Haye is great for boxing. An exciting style, knockout power, good looking, well spoken, and completely willing to fight the best guys out there. I'm not sure he can do it, but Haye becoming champ at HW would be great for the sport.

Balls doesn´t cut it until you back your **** up.

If you can´t do that, class beats balls any day.

Talking smack and insults weigh lighter than air if a guy hasn´t even proven him self. I hope he can back half of this **** up at HW, or he and that troll Briggs goes hand in hand.
