In Haye's defense......he just wants another payday, and he knows he cant get Wlad, and Vitali is the next highest paycheck.

So of course, regardless of Vitali's age, Haye's gonna call out for this fight. And in 2-3 yrs, when Wlad is gonna, and maybe Arreola or Mitchell are putting on multimillion dollar fights, I bet Haye will be back out of retirement, calling them out.

To Haye it doesnt matter who he's gonna fight, it only matters if the fight will be a financial success for him. :thumbsup

Haye could grow an extra toe on each foot for extra stability and old ass Vitali still dominates him for every round.

Vitali accuses Haye of hiding the last 3 years for the fight not being made

Haye had all kinds of chances to make this happen the last few yrs

Vitali is in his 40's and is thinking of getting out of the sport, i doubt he is interested in Haye's games and playing the waiting game and dealing with the annoying trash talk

He has done plenty in his career and is at a natural age to retire from boxing

Haye had his chance now he is just getting desperate

IF....IF Vitali has one more fight after the election, why would anyone want to see anything other than the Haye fight?? there are no big dogs in the WBC rankings that are knocking at the door worthy of a fight.......the Haye fight would be the most talked about.....win or lose, it should be a fight that a true fan is interested in....retire or Haye fight....win or lose, wouldn't change my opinion on a great champ who has had a great career.....but if you're not interested in the Haye fight i dont know why

Not as astounding as Britard or Hayelord, call it what you will, logic. Haye scraps a victory against one of the slowest, clumsiest heavyweights ever to step into a ring in Valuev, runs for 12 straight rounds v Wlad but now because he beat Dereck ****ing Chisora he has a chance against Vitali

Oh yeah I forgot, Vitali "struggled" with Chisora and Haye knocked him out, so that means Haye surely knocks out Vitali right? Even though the only two fights he has had in his career that can be compared to a possible Vit fight (Wlad and Valuev) he stunk the ****ing joint out.

Klit fans shouldn't fear this fight going ahead, history tells us Haye hasn't got the balls to beat a fighter like Vitali.

Hey Vit fans, if Vit's so "great", why couldn't he knock out an old and fat Shannon Briggs?

Huh? Some source for this Gomez "withdrawal" please. This is the closest they've gotten, if that was before your time:

    Wow.

Why are you so mad? If I were you I'd take a step away from the keyboard, have a walk around the block, get some fresh air and then come back when you have a better grip on your emotions.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wladimir_Klitschko_vs._David_Haye

"In late 2008 a contract was signed between Haye and Vitali to fight in the summer.[14] However Klitschko pulled out and chose to fight mandatory, [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Juan_Carlos_Gomez"]Juan Carlos Gomez[/ame]"

Google david haye vs vitali klitschko 2008 & you will see it reported all over the world, there were threads about it on all the boxing forums. Or do your own research next time:good
