So, create a full 12 rounds of a fight picking different individual rounds corresponding to the actual rounds from fights throughout history, basically if you have any round from any fight in history what would it be For example Round 1: Hagler vs Hearns Round 2: Williams vs Martinez II Round 10: Castillo Corrales etc Essentially the idea is to have the best ever round 1, 2, 3 etc This is potentially a terrible idea :think
Of the top of my head: Round 1 - Marvin Hagler- Thomas Hearns Round 2 - Terry Norris-Troy Waters Round 3 - Wilfredo Gomez-Lupe Pintor Round 4 - Rafael Marquez- Israel Vazquez III Round 5 - Marco Antonio Barrera- Erik Morales I Round 6 - Oscar De La Hoya- Ike Quartey Round 7 - Humberto Gonzalez-Saman Sorjaturong Round 8 - Mathew Saad Muhamad - Yaqui Lopez II Round 9 - Arturo Gatti -Micky Ward I Round 10 - Diego Corrales-Jose Luis Castillo I Round 11 - Marco Antonio Barrera - Erik Morales III Round 12 - Oscar De La Hoya - Shane Mosley I
Here's a great vid that was posted in the Classic recently with the same idea [yt]yEzNGJRKd_g[/yt] I don't agree with a few of the choices but I can't really think of much others off the top of my head.
I think it's actually a great idea... with one caveat: The end of the fight shouldn't happen in that round if you want to pick more rounds after it. Example: Corrales vs. Castillo I round 10.
My boxing knowledge isn't informed enough to populate a whole 12 rounds but I'd suggest the Benn McClellan fight for round 1.
Round 8 have to be the light heavy weight fighters Saad vs Lopez II That round was surreal 0:31 [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NKZGiVCSVd0[/ame]
