Nah. In 2009-2010 it was an interesting fight. Now, it's been reduced to just a money-making event that's only breathing because of the ridiculous hype it garnered during the time it was supposed to happen. In terms of best, most competitive fights to be made at the moment, Mayweather-Pacquiao doesn't even break into the top 5.

 

Pac will give Floyd all the shots in order to get to him....but Pac's volume punching is much lesser than it was before and has less sting. Pac has less chance of beating Floyd than 3 years ago...but hey its boxing one punch can make a difference it can even take the win.

I think he knows it's not that simple, but his English is limited. He also said it's just "one" tactic. Mayweather can exploit reckless aggression, but Pac isn't wrong in identifying his weaknesses. A feint and a speedy advance, and Floyd goes from center to corner in 2 seconds flat:

Funny how he knows how to beat Floyd, but doesn't know how to beat Marquez(which Floyd clearly does).

 

Manny actually is known to land high percentages of punches, especially his power shots.

Check his fights against Mosley, Oscar, , Hatton, Cotto, Margo, and even his recent fight against Marquez... Very high connect % on power punches. Some of them have very high connect % overall as well.

Actually probably among the best in the sport in connect % on power punches. Most of his fights he has very high rates.
