    This would be a stay busy fight for Ward. The only fight I wanna see with Ward at 168 is Dirrell.

    It makes zero sense for Pavlik as he knows that he can make more money overall racking up a few wins against top 30ers and cherrypicking whoever holds the WBO than running into a brickwall named Andre Ward.

    With this said, I do agree that Pavlik needs to step up his competition a bit and challenge someone like an Andrade or Donovan George before challenging for the IBF or WBO...

    Andre Ward still doesn't have a big enough following to provide Pavlik with the kind of money you're talking about...if that's Kelly's motivation right now.
    Pavlik can make upper 6 figures against almost any top 20 SMW and, while it would be a good payday, he probably wouldn't make that much more against Ward than he would against Froch or Abraham so it just makes more sense to go the easier route and stay viable rather than get your ass handed to you for comparable money.

    Pavlik has a chance, if he can Quadrouple that jab.

    :lol: Yeah, maybe if Ward pulled an Ortreez and allowed Pavlik to tee off on his chin.

    He can sextuple that jab, he's still getting thoroughly embarrassed.

    "Kelly has settled in at 168 pretty well" :lol::lol:

    At least be complete, he has settled pretty well against tomato cans and cab drivers.

    Briliant post Booradley, briliant. :clap::clap:

    Booradley does not realize that Pavlik is not what he thinks.

    Ward stops Pavlik on cuts in 10 or 11.

    I don't disagree with the majority of folks saying Ward would work KP over pretty decisively. The eyelid cut is his kryptonite, and it doesn't really take much. Rosinsky almost had it opened and barely touched KP!

    But a lot of posts are mentioning that KP is just looking for ONE more big check before he hangs them up. I disagree. The Hopkins fight created a serious road block for Kelly's career. But at the end of the day, he's 30 yrs old (younger than a lot of names at MW and SMW), he's got 2 losses against future HOF'ers. You gotta believe Kelly knows that hanging em up in the near future will leave him with way too much time on his hands creating the worst situation for a recovering addict. I like Kelly against Abraham, and would've loved to see him against Chavez Jr if he wouldn't have gotten popped on that drug test.
