Lopez deserves a shout. Took a beating like a man and went out swinging.

Nah, Martinez had already beaten a guy who had beaten Sturm, and by KO.

The odds for Martinez/Chavez were closer than Dawson/Ward. Meaning Martinez/Chavez was the more competitive bout.

    Ward

Brilliant performance against a very quality operator. From start to finish. None of this 12th round slip-up/almost getting KTFO, either (by one of the worst MW title holders in boxing history either - which puts into perspective that Martinez is no great shakes at the weight).

Both Ward and Martinez's performances were exceptional, had to vote for Martinez purely on biasity

    This is tough....

    Im going to say Ward.

But, just as Martinez getting dropped in the last round took some shine off, me finding out just how much torture it was for dawson to make 168 and how his training camp went, plus getting sparked by miranda a few weeks before, has also kinda took some shine off that win to me.

Still though, its a tough list to split.

That was a good win for Matthysse, good win for Geale, ect.

But considering almost nobody thought Ward would actually be stopping Dawson, Ill go ahead and go with him.
