Fury is calling him out on the Scene, and Haye claims he'll be chilling on the beach in Dec, and that Fury should fight Price. Haye insists on facing 41 year-old Vitali, who may very well retire in Nov. He seems to be terrified of lineal champ Wladimir, and only mentions Vitali, who seems to be focused on a political career atm. Haye and his camp don't seem to realize how cowardly he sounds. Haye has unfinished business on the domestic front. He needs to beat Fury to prove 1) he's the best British heavy and 2) he really is a Top 5 heavy worldwide. A win over Fury would make Haye the clear #1 challenger for the heavyweight title. If Haye loses....well Booth/Haye can say Fury was too big for cruiserweight Haye and Haye can retire or try fighting a smaller guy. While Fury is much taller then K2, it's nevertheless a decent lead-up to a K2 showdown for Haye. Surely it would be a massive pay-day for both men. It's a fight that needs to happen....next!
Haye-Fury on Channel 5. i no this wouldnt happen cause of money, but one can dream. Haye lands a hayemaker and puts him to sleep.
I thought about this earlier. He should fight Fury and then Price if Vitali doesn't give him a fight. He beats his two countrymen with ease. Haye is world class, they aren't. He'd make good money fighting both of them, for little work.
He's levels above both Fury and Price, why would anyone want to see these fights (apart from the entertainment value of seeing Fury doing the chicken dance?)?
Fury and Haye would sell the fight with their mouths. Tyson has a solid following due to his ITV and Channel 5 exposure. As far as Price goes, if he destroys Harrison then the buzz will grow, rightly or wrongly.
If Haye/Chisora made alot of money, then Haye/Fury has the potential to make even more money. I guess the catch is Fury would demand a larger cut. But Fury can publicize a fight even more effectively then Chisora. I bet Haye could make as much (or nearly as much) money fighting Fury as he would fighting Vitali and with considerably less risk.
true, it could be a replay of the Valuev fight. However, given Fury's character I suspect that after a few rounds of that Fury would start taking more chances, and Haye would try some more counters. Both boxers would be under pressure to please the (British) crowd.
Paulie M deserves a mention for bad trunks, what the hell he wore in the Hatton fight is beyond me. Chisora would beat Price, Haye would put him in a coma.
Fury is not ready and might never be... Thou it would be fun fight as long as it lasts. Haye would propably spark him out at some point. I think this might be brawl.
