If he was actually fighting Kats...

  2. This is a comeback after years in retirement for Hatton, he was never gonna be fight Money May in his first fight.....I'm just glad he didn't Thaxton out of the woodwork or something.

Not the greatest fight and is in Hattons favour...but Katsidas is no mug and is going to be a test to see where Ricky is

a lot smaller and shot to bits,......yes, a typical HATTON opponent. Some things never change.
We can only hope Kat lands a decent left hook on Wicky's egg chin and ends this farcical career once and for all.

bit torn here as I love katsidis.

i think ricky may struggle here. although kats is shoit to pieces he will still have the power and the stamina.

i distinctly remember ricky saying post pac fight that he was being hurt in sparring by 135 lb fighters. well kats is more a banger than those sparring partners were and will be wearing 8oz gloves. i suspect rickys chin has gone and kats may well ko him.

interesting fight and I hope it doesnt turn into a long brutal war which damages both.

3 or 4 round shoot out with a couple of knockdowns would be fine by me. not 10 rounds of punishment

Has Katsidis ever been on the canvas?

    I'm pretty sure he hasn't.

Also for those saying Katsidis will look like a dwarf next to Ricky, aren't they both exactly the same height?

Obviously Kats didn't look effective against Burns, but I think after Saturday night we are learning just how good Burns is.

The years of living badly could make all the difference here. I'm favouring Katsidis if this IS actually confirmed :good

Fair enough, my bad! Who against?

I knew he was stopped on his feet against Marquez without ever going down - and did put Marquez on the floor.

Burns didn't put him on the floor either.

He took a standing count against Scott Earl but didn't go down.

TBF I haven't seen all of his fights :good

lol, he came down? he went up 2 weight divisions vs a shot old weight drained fighter where he weighed 142 when he had previously come from 129 and only had 1 fight at 135. hatton was banging on about how he would bully pac and how he was bigger and stronger and a natural light welter etc etc etc

the look of shock on his face after the final knockdown is a classic!!

No he got k'd twice in the first round then stopped on his feet in 10.

Not really laid out when you go down from well timed shots and bounce right back up

Graham Earl dropped him and had him on wobbly legs. Casamayor dropped him three times and stopped him

Michael Katsidis's camp admits he would be interested in fighting Ricky Hatton, but has yet to be approached.
