But before Pacquiao beat his brains in, Cotto went on record saying he was in the best shape of his life...

Weight-drained is definitely one of the go-to and most popular excuses for discrediting wins and picking apart resumes these days.

In the first place, Fighters should not sign the contract to fight if it was at a catchweight and not feel comfortable about it.

He should never have faced the GOAT in the 145lbs and 150lbs divisions

The biggest problem with the Cotto was drained excuse, is that Cotto was 146 for Clottey. The on 24/7, they showed him having to sacrifice a cheeseburger so he could make weight. Lol

And he looked like **** against Clottey as well. Why do people mention the Clottey fight to support their agenda? Don't get it

Bret.. Everybody looks like **** against Clottey. But then again, Cotto did drop Clottey with a JAB in the opening rounds and later on body slammed him.

It's too easy for Cotto to blame weight after getting destroyed by Pacquiao after saying weight wasn't an issue. The sad thing is Cotto has better excuses such as the moron in his corner.

How much weight do you think Cotto gains in between fights?

He looked like **** because of the cut.

People mention the Clottey fight because in that he only weighed one pound heavier. One ****ing pound!

Cotto wa s straight up outclassed in every department of the game when he fought Pacquiao except for the cheeseburger he had to sacrifice.
