Who would have picked Juan Manuel Marquez over JCC snr prime for prime(H2H)?

He had an ATG left hook to the body. Seriously. What the **** are you smoking? Katsidis has a FRACTION of JCC's power. A SMALL fraction.

 

JCC is better than Pac..so no.

 

The shocking thing about this thread is that people are comparing a prime Chavez to this version of Marquez, who although world class is still past his best.
Consider now how Marquez looked unlucky to many against Pacquiao who some considered the best P4P fighter in the world whilst a younger Chavez was being stopped by Tsyzu.

My original thoughts

 

He is not quite Duran at lightweight. But at Jr. Lightweight JCC is one of the two or three greatest ever, IMO.

JCC would make Duran quit quicker than SRL did and for better reasons, but that's an argument for another thread. The argument in THIS thread is whether JMM could beat JCC and the answer is no. He wouldn't get embarassed, but he would lose and imho find himself on shaky legs in the late rounds.
