Dude is almost 40, weighed 245 when he beat Sanders. Rahman's frame is massive. He can handle Anything to 250, IMO.

I ain't saying he's in tip top shape, but he's 30 pounds lighter than his last fight, so he's obviously trained.

but he also weighed 224 against holyfield 2 years later and 232 against meehan 4 years after sanders.

 

I dont think anyone in their right mind is disputing that.

I know, but maybe he was adopting different training methods. In the Meehan fight he threw tons of shots. Maybe he was light so he could be faster. I ain't trying to defend him. I think age has to do with this too.

 

Dang he's just collecting that check to buy more potato pancakes. Them pancakes sounds good tho. Someone should tell him he could eat all the potato pancakes he wants AFTER the fight not BEFORE the fight.

 

I think Rahman will make it competitive. Its not like hes shot like Danny Williams who also fought today and WAS in shape yet still lost badly to a novice club fighter.

OK i have just seen some weigh in pictures and while Povvy seems to look chubby as usual Rahman looks TERRIBLE. Reminds me of Ray Mercer in his pose with the belly out.
