Ustinov is a dreadful fighter. His round 11 consisted of holding three times without a punch being thrown, taking a cuffing shot and quitting. Awful, pathetic attempt and a depressing sign about the quality of the division.
You probably didn't watch the fight Povetkin vs Pulev will be very interesting and competitive bout. Matching two different styles. I think it will be 50:50.
He was 27-0 and possibly ranked inside the top 15, which is far too high. The guy is complete garbage. Atrocious fighter, one of the worst top level heavyweights I've ever seen. Not only that, but he clearly lacks heart. He's a fat, useless coward. Such an awful division. The worst heavyweight division of all time, by a fair margin.
Agreed on all counts. :thumbsup (except that I instinctively want to argue with you about Ustinov ever being a "top level heavyweight", but upon thinking it over, sadly, you aren't wrong :verysad)
He'd be in there wanting to hurt Ustinov, which is bad news for a guy with no defense. Ustinov meanwhile would be blubbering in Russkie-ese about "please stand still and let me land one jab. ONE!! :|" ...and yes, 2-Ton would look like ****ing Locche in there.
Agreed. Galento wasn't a perfectly fit heavyweight or anything like that, but he was actually pretty good. He was much more than a tough man. I don't think Ustinov is even that and yet, somehow, he made it into the top 15 heavyweights in the world. Crazy.
Brittards - "This is the worst heavyweight division of all time" :| Because no Brit is near a heavyweight title plus they're getting battered by eastern euro robo-****s :|
Would a Haye vs Pulev fight generate 10 mil +? :think And would Pulev be willing to fight for 30% against a guy he is ABOVE in most ratings?:think Haye won't fight for less than 7 million, so let's not start any matchmaking posts concerning him unless they are for a title vs a top draw.:-(
