  2. Whats the challenge?? As you know the SMW div is not very old. Please tell me you do not think Ward should be number 1?

i think its a legitimate comparison between the only legit SMW champions of the last 10 years or so

ive issued plenty of challenges - why you think fighters need to go to the britain, and ive explained why that isnt relevant.

now i gotta log. friends over.

but ill pick it up later

  4. And your point about PPV in america back then was not huge outside HW
Before Fraud and Oscar the biggest PPV was Tyson and there is a big gap between then and now.
And as champion they fight where the best money would be and obviously that was in the UK because that is where the best SMW were Europe you can not deny it the facts are in black and white in the rankings of the 5 years, bar Roy Jones there was not much out there in America.
Since then there has been Mighty Joe undefeated SMW champion did he fight in america before Roy and Bernard ?? No and he is criticised for those fights

  5. Calazaghe jones ppv POOR 190,000 yet 300,000 were expected and if memory serves me Hopkins was not on PPV, but I could be wrong.

    1. Calzaghe
    2. Ward
    3. Eubank
    4. RJJ
    5. Kessler
    6. Froch
    7. Benn
    8. Ottke
    9. Collins
    10. Toney

SMW is a hard division to rank, there are guys who racked up a lot of title fights (Calzaghe, Eubank, Ottke) & others who spent less time at the weight but had great ability (Roy, Benn, Toney)

  8. Seriously?? You have Gerald McClelan ( G-Man ) in but not Benn WoW And James Toney at 1 lmao Who beat Barkley rtd, yet Benn KTFO of him in 1 round. Toney was not long at SMW and his resume of SMW fighters is not good

    You have shamed yourself

Glen Johnson a man who everyone was beating until he popped up on HBO and shattered RJJ's glass jaw above Calzaghe and Ward not to mention others. Clear Troll

    7. Kessler

*Tarnished by steroid use, if clean no-where near
** Probably was juicing as well

Top 3 is a lock, 4-6 and 8-10 interchangable amongst themselves

Although Benn would have brutally KO'd RJJ if they fought what with the glass he was packing

Toney got in for me as his work at the weight allowed him to be considered the best in the world by many boxing fans after moving up from 160 he stopped Doug Dewitt, put on a clinic against Iran Barkley, beat Tony Thorton stopped Tim Littles and put on a masterclass against Prince Charles Williams.

Roy Jones got in on the strength of his win over Toney, proving to me without question, pound for pound he was the best in the world at that weight.
