How do you see this one go? And just because Hamed got outboxed by Barrera who lost (closely, imo) to JMM who lost to John (again, closely imo) should not automatically mean John>Hamed, as the two Mexicans have their own preferential stylistic matchups-
Hamed by KO. Hamed is light years ahead of the current 126 lb crop. The only one that would give him some trouble, maybe, is Salido b/c of his size and toughness.
By KO? This is Chris John we're talking about. Granted we've seen him in a spot of trouble against lesser hitters than Naz, but that was late in grueling fights and more to do with him fading than with his ability to handle power. (which is considerable) I just think John's high-level technicality would negate a lot of Naz's craziness and he wouldn't be too awed by it, instead just putting his head down and setting about his work and probably getting to Naz more than most as a result. Not saying I don't favor the Prince, but it's not a gimme KO victory by any means.
John by UD, without much hesitation. Chris John would be happy to outbox Hamed for 12 round and that's how you must fight him.
I can see it going the same way as Hamed-Medina. Hamed would look silly for a few rounds until his power starts to wear Chris down for a late round TKO.
