If we do this by timeline comparable to Oscar's. How many losses does Duran have?
Basically if Duran fought Oscar's opponents at the same stages of Oscar/Duran's career.

Young Duran vs Old Chavez Senior
Prime Duran vs Mosley,Trinidad,Whitakker, Vargas etc.
    Prime Duran vs Hopkins.
    Old Duran vs Mayweather
    Old Duran vs Pacquaio

    Prime Duran was 135.

Depends on how many times Don King wants to job Roberto, and if Mosley is on the juice?

Too many variables to consider. But I say he loses to Hopkins definitely, and possibly Whitaker

Duran above 135 was still very elite. How do you feel a MW Duran would do against Kelly Pavlik?

A 160 Duran would lose to Hopkins, an old Duran would also lose to both Mayweather and Pacquiao.

I see Duran beating everyone except for Hopkins, 50/50 Trindad and loses to Pac and Floyd.

The problem with Duran post lightweight is inconsistency: looks like ass against Benitez, looks like a God against Moore, who then starches Benitez. Looks unhurtable against Hagler and is in the fight, gets starched by Hearns. Incompetent against Laing, decks the much bigger and younger Barkley.

Duran could lose to a lot of guys ... or beat a lot of guys, but his battles with Viruet and the second Leonard fight and Kirkland Laing some other cutie pie types lead me to believe he would struggle mightily against catching sweet pea and have equal problems with the movement of Pac and Mayweather as well as possibly being unable to establish something against Hopkins. I think he and Mosley are a great match up because neither really moves all that much (usually). And by that I mean excessive back foot movement, not in and out attacks.

Mosely at 135, Trinidad & Quartey 147 & Vargas at 154 would all be great fights I think Duran would win

Whitaker at 147 & Hopkins at 160 are winnable but I wouldnt bet on Roberto

Old Duran would get beat by Floyd & Pacquiao

Prime Duran of the Palomino/Leonard 1 fights would not lose to a past-it Whitaker at 147.

He'd lose two of those fights - as an older fighter against Mayweather and Pacquiao.

Don't think he beats Hopkins, Older version would probably would lose to Mayweather but because of styles he'd likely beat Pacman, because Pac would be easy to find and Duran would likely be able to take his power and counter with power Pac couldn't take.

    This, plus Hopkins of course.

Though I guess it depends on what we mean by 'older Duran'. If it's the 'older' Duran who battered Moore, he could very well beat Mayweather at 154 and it wasn't until well into the 90's that he ever got as bad as DLH was against Pac. He could pose a real threat there as well. He couldn't afford an off night against either though, obviously.

I think Duran has a chance vs hopkins. If he took it close with a pre-Hearns, PRIME HAGLER, he has a chance with Bhop for sure. Old Duran does lose to pac and floyd though

Hopkins is nothing at all like Hagler. Taller and smarter (in the ring, anyway)... No way he loses to a former lightweight or fails to impose his size & power on him.
