Luis Collazo arguably beat Berto and Hatton. More so Berto, in their close but controversial fight back in 2009. I think if he beat Berto he would have gone onto bigger things. Even though Berto was not a big name but a promising rising HBO star looking to make a legacy at that point. I think Berto was excused for this fight. I think the same thing goes for Hatton. I think he was protected for his big american debut.
He had a close fight with Hatton but he lost, had the decision gone his way it would have been controversial. He got another shot against Mosley and lost clearly. Beating Berto would give him another shot but I dont think he would take advantage of it, he was already on the decline
