Has Roy Jones ever had any trouble with his hands?

He claims that he broke his hand in the Hopkins fight.

 

nope, nothing serious that i can think of.

 

As i recall, he's basically had hand troubles throughout his whole career. But maybe i'm confused, because come to think about it, i can't think of that many examples. I do recall when he fought David Telesco, he said afterward he said he hadn't used his left hand in the last 2 or 3 weeks of training, and in the fight, he was almost exclusively throwing right hand leads because of that. And like the other guy said, there was the Hopkins fight.

Yeah but he said that ws from a motorocycle accident. I think that anyone would break their wrist in a motorcycle accident no matter how strong their hands may be.

i think i remember him saying hes broke his hands a couple times but its not like he has every fight

 

my buddies dad was his orthopedist early in his career, he had some hand troubles in the early days, but not so much later in his career when he became more of a defense minded fighter.
