Counter punches who have an average reach

    Can you name me examples of good and effective counter punches who has an average reach for their weight class?

    Prince naseem hamed, very short arms, yet probably the best british counter puncher ever

    counter punching is not about reach but speed and reflex. Andre Ward has short reach but good reflex and speed and is a good counter puncher.

    Marquez was the first one that came to mind. Mayweather aswell.

    Mayweather has long arms.

    Marquez, yes. He's a different type of counter puncher to the conventional one. He's an offensively set counter puncher who does so from the pocket.

    I was looking for fighters which had a style similar to mayweather but an average reach.

    Mayweather has long arms so surely it has been an advantage for him in counter-punching although i do agree that counter punching mainly involves speed and reflexes.

    However, with that added reach advantage doesn't it give him more time to react?
