Linares looks a lot better when he lets his hands go in my opinion.

 

I agree with this. Linares had/has greater potential. But he just doesn't appear to have the same resolve/desire to bounce back from defeats like Khan has. That's not saying Linares has no heart or anything. Just that Khan has extra extra amounts of it, which seems to have served him better than it has Linares. Oh, and being cursed with a paper skin doesn't help, either.

 

Linares is a far, far more skilled operator than Khan. Yes, he has some issues, but the are far from the same fighter.

 

Yup. Linares also has better defense in the pocket and is more patient with his combinations. They both simply fall prey to the same habit, which is reaching in and giving up their height in order to make more of a fight. Khan has great talent but Linares might have the better instincts in the ring.

 

Linares is a moron and Khan is ******ed.
Both are great athletes and they would be better off in other sports.

 

an L is an L. u can say that about alot of other fights, still doesnt change the end result of him getting his ass kicked.
he got adjusted to and stopped, get over it. and if there were a rematch, he'd get it even quicker now that Demarco knows what he's dealing with.

 

yet it was khan who became a champion in a more talented division.
