This is risky IMO. Where are you doing this? 1/3 is generous if the player is really highly ranked, I never used to see those odds and sooner or later these type of tactics of risking a lot to win a little usually bite you in the ass.
It's about bank-roll management. Some top poker players don't bet more than 1% of their bank-roll on any one game. Variance is your enemy.
when i say underdog i mean the underdog in the match. whoever is serving is allmost allways the favourite to win that particular game because breaking serve is not an easy thing to do. So no i dont bet on the match underdog to hold just the match favourite
Bet365 and i only do it on matches i can watch, as i said its about picking the right game, obviously if Federer is playing someone outside the top 100 then the odds will start at about 1/10 and increase as he keeps holding. an example of a recent match i did would be Azerenka (1) vs Lisicki (28 ) matches like this start out with odds of about 1/3 And yes it can bite you in the ass, thats why i only do the first 3 service games and bolt because i did **** up once or twice at the beginning by getting greedy and continually betting on the same game, all it takes is a double fault at the wrong time and its a break
And Boldstar i wouldn't advise doing this until you watch some tennis and get the feel for how it works and who the players are, some players have monster serves like Venus and Sharapova while others are slightly weaker
Exactly, but after you've hit a few winners quit while you're ahead regardless of how the momentum is going because its bound to **** up sometime
1 of 2 things is probably going to happen doing this, you'll either end up losing all the money you've built up through a run of 'bad luck' or whichever bookie you're using will ban/limit you (unless you have a losing account already). Maybe swap bookies each bet if you want to keep doing it as they don't take long to clock things. You're essentially just placing a treble with a £100 stake and tbf there's probably safer selections you could use which would be less obvious than what you're doing but that's just my opinion.
Does anybody know the best betting site/bookies to use for betting on undercard fights? I am going to Price vs Harrison on Saturday but wouldn't mind putting a few bets on the undercard fights (Dickinson vs McPhilbin, Edwards vs Satchell) Ive had a look on WillHill and Skybet and can only find Title fights that they take bets on so your help would be appreciated...
http://www.oddschecker.com/boxing-mma/boxing Dickinson and Miles fights are right at the bottom for some randon reason.
Im gonna wait for the round odds to come out before laying some money on JLD. Miles looks good at 3s.
Cheers lads! Looks like Betfred will be covering all of the fights, hopefully nearer to Saturday then will have the rounds or fight outcome odds too for the undercard fights. Im going for: Dickinson TKO/KO Satchell PTS Anwar PTS Pricey KO (rounds 2-5, seperate rounds) I'm gonna place 4 seperate 4 folds on the above if possible, put a bit more entertainment on the night and hoefully win some money!
alexander to stop bailey is 3.10 devon will box his head off and itll be stopped by the ref or randalls corner. im getting on this....pause
