Do you think Roach has lost any credibility as a coach/trainer in the last 12 months with his 3 best fighters losing 4 times between them?

not really, his parkinson is clearly catching up to him, his speech is far slower now, compared to few years ago. He went from being over rated (GOAT trainer) to under rated (always a bum, one dimensional trainer). He is still in the Top 3 trainers in the world, Top 10 best ever. Best tactician on the planet, his cornerwork has gone downhill due to parkinson disease.

Asking the question meands basically you know **** all about boxing. So a trainer has to go through his career without losing.
I mean Eddie Futch,Ray Arcel and Angelo Dundee must have been failures.

don't overstate things, manny never lost, chavez jr is bound to lose to maravilla. Ami khan is the only loss in roach's perspective

He was quite fortunate that Pac was incorrectly given the decison in the 2nd JMM fight.

He's always been a bit overrated

True, Pac got robbed by the judges against Bradley, Chavez Jr. has little work ethic and trains like it's already in the books that he won. As for Khan, I think he's to stupid to train to fight to his strengths and thinks he's capable of trading shots when hurt------------and we all know how well that's working out for him.

History will show that they did lose. His fighters are a lot better than the opposistion and shouldn't have allowed the scorecards to be close (Khan v Petersen) (Pac v Bradley)

Roach by far gets overhyped because of Pac. To deny that is just true biased. He can only teach punch selection and offense. People think Pac has good footwork but he's clearly off balanced all the time hence why he looks like **** against moving targets. He cant cut of the ring and his inside fighting sucks which is basically the cookie cutter version of all his fighters. Luckily due to some of the shittiest fans in boxing and low hanging fruit picked off the trees at the most opportune moment we have the great hype jobs Manny and Roach.

Roach can only prepare someone for their fight. The fighter is the one who has to fight, not roach. Roach has a history of success and will be remembered as a great trainer.

Yeh course he has. You got all the comments above me praising him to the him to the moon and yet he can't teach very important parts of boxing skills but he's meant to be so great. Who is roach without manny? how good is manny really? there's a lot manny can't do and he relies heavily on his physical ability's to win fights. Which can partly be credited to ariza. How good is manny's pure boxing skills really? not that great at all. JMM has way more skills and left the fight with a draw after being down 4x in the fight. That's shows you how many rounds JMM had to win back to get a draw, his skill lever is way higher. Round for round JMM has won a lot more rounds than manny has.

Roach is a flawed trainer. He is a master in offense but he is can't teach defense at all, he is not a great teacher of counter punching and he's pure **** at teaching inside fighting. When any of his fighters are on the ropes they are ****ed then need to be in the centre of the ring or moving around constantly on the outside.

I don't think Roach's disease is any worse than when his fighters were winning. He just lacks the knowledge of certain essential boxing skills so his fighters go in the ring handicapped and as they fight better opponents it has become more clear.
