UFC champ Anderson Silva says 'no way' to superfight with Jon Jones

Silva playing possum and his false humilty act again. He'll dismantle Jones and and bow to him afterwards.

After Silva butchers Bonnar then Id understand why Jones wouldnt want the fight.

Tell me, how many of Fedor's fights did you have "no interest in watching" and boycotted because the opponent M1 selected for him wasn't good enough?

Reminds me of when Wanderlei was too scared to fight Crocop. Or when Henderson was too afraid to fight Fedor. Or when Penn was too afraid to fight GSP. Or when Edgar was too afraid to fight Henderson. Or when Franklin was too afraid to fight Forrest/Lidell.

185 has always been one of the weakest weightclasses in the UFC. Anderson is without a doubt the #2 GOAT but it is HUGELY disappointing that he would just completely write off the idea of fighting Jones. Does Jones speak Portugese? Do they train together? How did they both become best friends all of a sudden except that they both wanted to become besties so they'd never have to fight?

I guess The UFC should apologize for shoving that kick in the face, 15-0 record, slipping, bobbing, weaving, and other highlights down our throats.

A great fighter like this sells himself, he could be fighting like this in a ****ing basement and you would still know about it.

 

I'm more interested in Jones going up than him fighting Silva anyway.

 

Why's that?

Surely you're not going to say that it's because Jones had some trouble with Bonnar when he'd been fighting professionally for less than nine months?

 

Especially considering the beating he put on Bonnar in the first two rounds. Jones only lost the third due to his poor pacing and conditioning at the time.

I don't even think his conditioning was even that bad when you consider that he was literally tossing around one of the biggest LHWs in the sport like a ragdoll for ten minutes. That's enough to wear just about anybody out.

It's more of a problem of having a bad game plan and limited skill set at the time. When he got Bonnar down or put him in a bad position, he didn't know how to follow up or finish him. He just let him up and went for another throw.

 

Just saying. He will beat every common opponent easier than Jones. He is that good. Is that proof that He will beat Jones? Well, thats individual opinions.

but not that impressive of a list

guys like GSP & Jones had more dangerous oponents, imo
