    Its gonna be one year out of the ring.I hear he works as a bartender somewhere in Ireland.Then, what? no more boxing? there are plenty of HW is Europe to fight and he can't get anybody to fight.After winning the HW tournament i believed his career will take a hike,instead it took a plunge.

    I'm dissapointed, I thought Perez would be one of those up and comers of the HW division, instead he's vanished off the boxing map for almost year now

    Last i heard he was in talks to fight Price. What a fight that would of been.

    So many hw's in UK,Ukraine,Russia ,Belorussia,Germany and he can't find someone to stay busy? Even Povetkin finds himself someone to fight here and then.

    Not all that dedicated by most accounts.

    Seems to be a running issue with a lot of the Cubans.

    I saw a picture of him a couple of weeks ago and he look in shape, I don't know about not finding a fight but not too many are eager to rumble with him, the Price fight fell off and now I think he (Price) is facing Audly...

    Luckily he's only 26 so he has a bit of time, However's he's gonna want to get a move on if he wants to make a name for himself in the heavyweight division.

    my brother was chatting to him on facebook the other day and hes hoping to fight on novemebr the 17th i dunno is that the carl froch card,he told my brother thats hes been looking for fights the last 10 months and noone wants a piece of him,he also said he was fit and ready to fight,iv seen him numerous times jogging in the morning on my way to work and he looks in great shape

    Both him and Garcia are married or engaged with children now. I reckon that might have something to do with it, maybe they're settled.
