Who would be a more suitable UK candidate for the comm title eliminator against Browne? Someone like Chisora? Browne would probably be out of his depths there at this stage of the game.

Towers beats Sexton IMO. Stopped by Price, stopped twice by Chisora and got a gift against Rogan. Won a **** prizefighter though. McDermott beats Sexton as well IMO.

Don't think Towers' team would set him up with Browne if they didn't think he could win. Not sure the David Price route is wise, but I like Towers, he is rough round the edges. Plenty of routes for him to take and see where he is in 2 years time. I know he's 33, but at 35-38, he could still maximise his ability and have his big day(s). Surely it's all about him making a good few quid as easily as possible? He won't ever beat a Fury or Price, but Rogans, Maddalones etc... could get him in a good position down the line .

There is a certain amount of logic in that.

The hype comes from the fact hes a heavyweight and hes British. Thats enough trust me. Some people buy into his "story" as well, spent time inside for working for gangsters I believe?

    :thumbsup

I think it will pay off for Hatton. HK loves big HW's, betting will be huge and you will be right about the crowd draw.

    Going for Browne.:bbb

 Well its no different in Australia mate. We haven't ever really had a HW to get excited about and the few we've got now, won't even fight each other:patsch Getting involved with the Brit HW is a smart move by Browne.

Towers is going down bad in a worse state than certain other Towers did just over 10 years ago. Browne by early KO. This doesn't go 6 rounds.

If it does go past 6 then it has the potential to get a bit messy. This is a solid fight with stylistic matchup. I think the fact both guys are taking the fight after their sparring session shows that they're both confident and that it'll be fairly close (until there's a KD/KO that is).

So the eliminator part of this fight is a moot point unless Price vacates. Neither camp would send their man in to get butchered. Its likely he will vacate and move on to bigger things though. If he doesnt this fight is simply a recognition fight for both guys.
