It's a complete mismatch, but i think it's just a stay busy fight. After this Price will move on to world and become a contender.
You reckon? I think malloneys worse than his namesake for his keeping his fighters in 'safe' match ups.
its a quick turnaround fight in 6 weeks to get one in before christmas [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EL8e2ujXe8g[/ame]
Price is a real talent, and I think Malloney knows that. if he flattens Skelton(which he will) what else can he accomplish at domestic? And how much risk would there be putting Price in there with a guy like Adamek?
Its not great but at least its only in a few weeks so its no big deal. I just read this morning that Saul Alvarez is sitting out until May to chase the big fights. So the fact Price is fighting in about 8 weeks in good to see. Skelton will give him a little back but not much. Price just needs to get some rounds, take him out then move forward. Maybe maske anther quick defense because he said he wants the londale for keeps. I would like to see him against Pulev personally! then maybe let him rid the world scene of Povetkin (ugliest man alive) Or even let him get British revenge for the complete stiff job Helenius and sauerland did on Chisora. Id love to see Price KO that guy!
Skelton won't give price ****. If he lost another three stone of body fat that still wouldn't make him quick enough to match prices speed. And then there's that inhuman power price has, price stoppage in less than a round, AGAIN.
Do Maloney/Boxnation have the money to put him in with an actual step up/top 20 contender? I'm not sure. Who would go near him at the moment unless they have to or the money is great. The only other possibility is by him being the challenger to someone else, ie going to Germany/America with odds against...but again, no other contenders would bother with him surely unless they had too. Could be a problem! One option I guess is Maloney signing an extended deal with ******/Boxnation and in return Delboy being thrown to the lions (again)?
Adamek has the sort of skills and ability that could cause Price problems right now. Also, Price appears to be chinny and Adamek can punch hard enough to get rid of the lower-tier guys out there. The Skelton fight is fine, as long as he steps up after it.
Yep, it works both ways though, Adamek is small at the weight, defensively open and his chin hasn't carried upto Heavyweight, understandably because he's giving away so much weight. I think Solis beats Adamek in December anyway.
