Fury is too open, and has been put on his ass by much lesser fighters, Price's better boxing skills mean that he will catch Fury at will and his huge power will mean lights out. David Price is a monster. Its still early days but I feel that he is the hardest hitter in the division today.
just a shame theres such an age gap. furys a relative kid. anyone have a source to price getting stopped by cammarelle? been looking for it for yonks.
I like both but at this stage I go for a win for Tyson Fury over David Price. Though I, like others have said, doubt we will ever see them fight one another.
Fury has only been on the floor once in both the amateurs and the pros atsch By Pajkic - which turned out to be a wake up call and send Fury into getting into elite shape. Price has, I believe, been on the floor approximately FIFTEEN times. 4 times in ONE fight and most significantly ... been put on his backside by Fury :good It will be a fantastic fight when it happens.
Tough to call. As it stands I'd have to slightly favour Fury. I don't think Saturday told us that much about Price (He sent Fraudley splauling to the ropes with a jab), he has a good amount of power but has only used it on journeymen and has-beens so far. Personally I think he should be shouting at Frank Maloney to get him some more meaningful fights. Matt Skelton, I feel, is not a sufficient enough test and is another one he will blow away in a few rounds. If they put him in with someone like Fury, Helenius, even Chisora, we will see what he is made of and be able to make a better judgement. Great stuff to watch though and I wish him all the luck in the world.
@Tyson_Fury: @DavidPrice_1 I'm gonna smash your face in u shithouse scouse ***** I look in your eyes and c fear! Ill take your sole and give it the devil
When has Price been hit flush in the pros and who has even tested him on a reasonable level? He's had the same/lesser stream of fighters that Fury has had! Fury has poor defence but that's against fighters he expected to beat and wanted to put on a bit of a show against. Maddalone we saw him fighting intelligently and against Price if he can keep his guard up I see that Fury has as much chance of KO'ing price as the other way around. I'd love to see how Fury would do with Chagaev hope that gets made. I think everyone is getting over excited about Price's power, he only sparked out Harrison and if he does the same against Skelton that still won't convince me that he's got Fury's number. It's 50/50 for me and I give the edge slightly to Fury if he continues to stay in shape and test himself against decent opposition whilst Price is just KO'ing cannon fodder in Harrison and a 45 year old Skelton.
So Fury struggling against opponents the same standard that Price has dominated is again being used as a reason why Fury would beat Price? Maddening.
Get off this thread with your sense talk, boy. Price hasn't struggled massively and been decked by bums, he's beaten them in style. Of course he won't beat Fury!
