I've never seen Klitschko low blowing though. If Haye had a chin of steel and beat a HW yet, I would probably cast my vote for him.
WLAD beats Haye...I don't think Haye just walks up to WLAD, cracks his chin and puts on some new gold. There is still the Jab & Grab to deal with.
At this point I am not even sure why Haye is on the list as he has not fought let alone beat a credible HW yet. Nonetheless, if he does and wins impressively, I would definetly consider him as a legit threat.
I can't belive 6 people voted for Haye, who is completely untested at HW and only 2 people voted for Peter, a guy who actually had Wlad knocked down 3 times. Hilarious.
Seconded. They are all capable of pulling the upset, but barring a lucky punch or a steady decline because of age, he should get by those listed in the poll.
Wlad will probably end up getting knocked out by someone few people have heard of, he is great skills and dominant jab that is certainly on par with Holmes and Lewis', while his power is tops in the division, right up there with Sam Peters. I think a fighter with a big heart and chin, has a chance of getting Wlad out of there, his chin is very weak, and when pressure is applied, Wlad goes from a top notch fighter, to a lost little boy, his chin/mental weakness will be the cause for his downfall.
I hear you, which is why I abstained from voting in this poll. I didn't like the "somebody else" answer. I would have rather had one that said..."complete nobody." This however was a loaded poll, with aswers like goat-herder. We are not looking for David Haye or Chagaev. We are looking for the next Corrie Sanders or Ross the Boss.
He retires without losing again. Since the modern era, only Holmes and Tyson fought in a worse era. Wlad is too skilled and too well coached. He won't lose again.
Exactly, the loss will come from a guy that has nothing to lose, and everything to gain. Take Lamon Brewster for instance, he had two losses to Shufford and Eitenne coming into that fight, known for only his great chin, and was off 15-16 months coming into that fight, he knew deep down that if he hung in there with Wlad, theres a chance Wlad might leave himself open to an attack, similiar to when Foreman fought Moorer, he knew he couldnt outbox or out skill him, but knew if he hung in there, an opertunity for a mistake is possible. I think Wlad is physically an ATG, but mentally he is anything but, which I think gives even the least talented fighter, a chance for an upset, if you come in willing to take that punishment, the opertunity may present itself for big upset.
If you ask the nut jobs who despise Wlad it was supposed to be Peter, then Brock, than Brewster in the re-match, then Ibragimov....and the beat goes on. I think Wlad is in his prime right now and is not going to lose for a few years. Anyone who fights long enough will lose again due to older age or injury, but at this moment, there is not a single boxer alive that I would pick to defeat Wlad.
Valuev has the greatest chance of beating Vlad. Vlad would have to give up his reach advantage, Valuev doesn't have to get past Klitschko's jab but it's other way around. Power doesn't seem to bother Nicolay at all as his head seems to be made of concrete Valuev would land some jabs and a few right hands too.
If you were posting here at that time, you know that the posters who built Brock up the most were KLIT fans. I was calling him "Not a Shot" Brock, and was informing all that WLAD would win, and that he should be fighting the man who KOd Brock with headgear on in sparring...Sergei Lyakhovich...who was calling him out at the time, had a win over Brewster and a belt. I did a round by round of the fight, and was damn suprised how good Brock he did...well not really, WLAD gave up some rounds, because he was cautious until the Jab just kicked into a whole 'nother gear. We all know about the right.
