If this is the case, Solis management is destroying his career.
IBF was quite mad about the Leif Larsen fight not happening and those arranging the boxing on Arnold Classic Europe have branches to Germany. They said Solis and mr. Oner could forget Europe and Germany.

He would be much better off fighting Larsen than ending up with no fight at all.

doesn't matter if it's off, Duva said that they have another top 10 guy for Adamek should Solis back out for whatever reason, how much of this is true, we will find out

    oh, here's the link:

    http://www.ringpolska.pl/tomasz-adamek/22044-duva-o-walce-adamek-solis-bedzie-sie-dzialo

"A fight on NBC is demanding, you need to be ready for every turn of events - what class is the subsitute, should Solis won't be able to get into the ring?"

"We have two subsitutes. I can't give any names, but subsitute #1 is a top 10 heavyweight"

I'll be talking to them this morning and ill give u an update.
But so far, Adamek is the one that doesn't want to fight Solis.
They were training in altitude along with Cotto and ready to fight.

C'mon buddy, Adamek was the one who OFFERED Solis the fight on NBC primetime + ppv in Poland. He send him a ****ing contract and suddenly he doesn't want the fight? For Solis it's basically the offer he cannot refuse. You know that. What is wrong with this cuban, he's waiting for another Ray Austin eliminator or what?! If Solis is out then he's done.

Disappointing, I was looking foward to this fight. Solis has really sunk his career lately- he pulled out of the 4-man IBF tournament, he's out of the Adamek fight, and he pulled out of the Larsen fight. He's clearly getting out of more fights than he's getting into.

I don't know whats going on behind the scenes with him but its not been good. He's going on 33 and has dedication issues to begin with and its not like these kind of oppurtunities are going to come along everyday for him.

Atleast there is plenty of time to get a good replacement opponent for Adamek. A number of good heavyweights should be available at that date-Arreola, Fury, Povetkin, Chagaev, Boystov, etc but I doubt he fights any of those. He probably fights someone like Cunningham, Hanks,Hamer, or Johnson.

    This is DEFINITELY about money.

Solis passed on the Larsen fight b/c team Adamek demanded it before they sent the contract.
Solis is already out the money he was gonna get for that fight. The official contract has to have been for a much smaller purse split than the verbally promised amount.

This fight was always on Adameks terms, terms Solis was OK with so long as the actual money was right. When they SAID the money would be fair, he dropped the Larsen fight as per the terms.
Now, the money is different and team Adamek refuses to negotiate terms more closer to the verbal terms.

Solis was ALWAYS just a way to get the Cunningham fight started. We all know that's what's going on here.

Kid Cubano and the other Cuban fight fans are very close to team Solis and they'll have the FACTS soon enough.:think
