Donaire fans: "GRJ is too green. He hasn't earned a fight with Donaire."

****, I'm just tired of politics and road blocks.

**** it, man. A fight is a fight and if these two talented, young fighters want to go at it, I will never stop them. Sometimes it's good to have an exception to a rule. It shouldn't always have to be about records and status. I'd much rather see Donaire fight GRJ than Arce.

I hope so man. I can't stand Donaire either, though I respect his accomplishments. Don't know if you watch MMA but he reminds me of Jon Jones..exceptionally talented but has this aura that's annoying.

Donaire sometimes annoys me, too. Although he is making me respect him more and more. He's one heck of a fighter inside the ring.

As for GRJ, yeah, his size and style could cause him problems. Donaire's effectiveness, much like Pacquiao's, is reduced when his opponents are fairly defensive.

Donaire has a 7inch reach advantage. But I don't think it would matter as Russell boxing skills are the ****.

Was talking more about his weight. He'll be a lot bigger than what Donaire is accustomed to. His punches will be a lot harder too - which could be a concern seeing as though how easily Donaire can be marked up. Donaire's punching power could be reduced, too.

I would really like to see this fight. From what I have seen it looks like GRJ has better combo speed and fundamentals, Donaire has more pop and big fight experience.

Russell's short t-rex arms may have trouble touching Donaire.
