im with you on that, garcia can punch and he took a massive shot, it would have put most down and or out,khan managed to get back up, he also stayed upright against maidana, its more the fact he takes these punches than a dodgy chin imo

 

Yeah I mean that's the thing, his chin is not THAT bad he just fights like he has a much better one than he really does.

You need to have an iron chin to fight like he does when hes hurt because he ships punishment like a mother****er.

He fights like a mexican when he gets tagged. god knows why

 

Go to 20:42, it's a few seconds after that, Garcia swings a looping right cross that sounds like a sledgehammer on impact, the fact that Khan takes that shot after the punishment he had just received is incredible, nothing short of incredible.

I really do not like the guy, i think he is mostly an arrogant ***** but his bravado and his heart in the Garcia fight ****ing astonishes me to be honest.

Yeah maybe but he needs to get out of it because he's gonna keep getting knocked out if he does it.

That style of fighting, to pull it off you need to be a big hitter and have an iron chin, Khan has neither of those.

It's his ring IQ really, he needs to look at people like Wladimir Klitschko, someone who's recognised his short comings as a fighter and has adapted his style to protect himself.

I don't think he can do it though, i think that's his style and it's not gonna change. one thing is for sure he's gonna be in some ****ing thrilling fights before he retires.

 

Watch around the 14:00min mark he catches Khan with the same left hook bang on the chin(not neck) no effect on Khan.

 

Watching that back, its incredible he lasted as long as did. Garcia was landing punch after punch, clean punches bang on the chin. Khan can't afford to absorb anymore punishment like that, it'll take its toll on him if he carries on fighting reckless.

Khan defiantly has a big heart.

 

This Molina will go for the kill from the get go..Lets see how Amir adapts?

That's why this fight will still be interesting.. people will want to see what kind of a change Virgil can bring to the table... Obviously, Molina is not some dumbass.. he's going to go after Amir as is any boxer who fights him right off the bat.. coz if he lands.. Amir will go to sleep... the only thing interests me is if Khan will take things seriously now and realize if he loses here his career is over.. he needs to fight smart (something we think Virgil can help him with).. keep away from exchanges, in and out of the pocket style of boxing, and most importantly keep using that stiff jab... Garcia's face was f'd up after 2 rounds, had Amir had the brains he could have done that all night and got a TKO victory.

I watched the Garcia fight back and I was surprised how good Khan looked in the first two rounds, he completely dominated.
