So I'm watching this poker-oriented channel on Youtube, and deep in their archives they have a 75-minute interview with one

Billy Baxter is kind of a legend in the poker world. He famously beat the Feds in a lawsuit that redefined taxable income, and in the process almost single-handedly made certain types of gambling a viable career choice. He's also won no fewer than

World Series of Poker bracelets, which puts him 7th on the all-time winner's list, just behind the likes of Ivey, Chan, Hellmuth and Brunson.

What's less well known about him is that he was a successful boxing manager, and had no lesser talents than Roger Mayweather, Bruce Curry and Vernon Forrest in his stable.

Surprisingly (to me, anyway, who was expecting a mostly-poker-related interview) in part 4 of the interview he goes in-depth into some of the twists and turns of his career as a boxing manager, including:

- Roger Mayweather
- Floyd Mayweather
- Bob Arum
- Dave Moretti
- Being falsely accused of fixing the Leonard-Hagler fight
- The odds on Tyson-Douglas, and how he dodged a bullet

It's interesting to hear a different perspective, and was a pleasant surprise to find deep in a recollection of gambling stories.
