I see that many are very disrespectful to this former champion. No blueprint on how to beat this man

NO RIP's from anyone besides me, I find that disheartening.

    27 bouts
    27 victories
    27 KO's

Was a p4p top 10 fighter, extremely exciting in the ring. What he did in his personal life is really nobody else's business. I'm not condoning what he has done but it's all in the past. He was still a gift to boxing and we should rejoice in the fact that he has brought us such great matches.

He wasn't just a one dimensional fighter, he showed us that he could box in the DeMarco match. He wasn't protected, he fought top competition and that's why he was ranked in the p4p rankings when he was still alive.

He also showed us that he had good recovery in the Loco match. Mosquera had him but Valero showed great heart and tenacity, the will to win. We have to respect him for that.

    RIP Champ

He was a beast. Few fighters if any today that fought as ferocious as this guy or as determined. Like a little raging bull. What a waste and tragedy.

Yeah, because DeMarco and Mosquera (who was ranked as the 3rd best junior lightweight in the world behind Pac and MAB) were stiffs.

Some of you ******s need to get a clue. Valero was the goods.

I don't pay homage to Valero for the same reason I don't celebrate OJ Simpson's football career. Deal with it.

Any chance Valero's demonic soul will take over JMM's body on Dec. 8th? Not that the great JMM needs it but it'd sure make my life more enjoyable.

would have been our generations roberto duran IMO.

one issue with the chin in the air. Either he would have had to fix that, or it woulddnt have mattered due to his defense or solid chin.
