According to one of the sources, Morales tested positive for the banned substance clenbuterol, which is typically used for breathing disorders but also is used as a weight-loss aid.

If it is clenbuterol, it can happen by eating meat that is contaminated, this happens alot here in Mexico, they use clenbuterol on cattle to make the meat better, and several soccer players from our national team tested positive for this and the cause was meat

Given the random testing I'll be interested to see what the level is. Supposedly Berto's level was consistent with contamination. I understand the intent of zero tolerance because people could micro-dose, but geez.... On the other hand you could load a steer up on purpose and then just lead regulators to your freezer and say, geez....who knew?

 

yeah it's pretty annoying to see. I condemned Peterson and still am. But I gave Berto a pass, because I think he may have been contaminated and his story may add up.
