to put it simply, from what i understand...

CIR testing detects the presence of the drug however miniscule.

T/E ratio detects the level of the drug and if it does not exceed the allowable limit, it is deemed negative.

i could be wrong, so am i??

    The Benefits of Clenbuterol (Clen):

Obviously it goes without saying; if you supplement with Clen youre going to burn more body-fat but as it was designed to treat asthma as you may already suspect it can also improve greatly cardiovascular efficiency

As you understand the more fat-free mass we hold the greater our metabolism functions; again, this only promotes the fat-burning abilities of Clenbuterol (Clen).

CIR testing only tests for Testosterone.

No ****ing way did they get a positive for clenbuterol from a T/E ratio test. USADA allows up to a 4:1 ratio and there's no way that stuff would make someone's T/E ratio go that high. Also, a T/E test is just that... It only measures the ratio of testosterone to epitestosterone to see if someone's testosterone levels are abnormally high, which is a possible sign that they've taken an anabolic steroid. Morales didn't have an unacceptable T/E ratio. He tested positive for this substance in particular.

Yes, your right. I know they do they do it for all boxing matches. The purpose of CIR is to test to see if the fighter used testosterone.

Not with CIR testing they won't. CIR tests examine the atomic makeup of testosterone in the urine to determine if it's natural or synthetic. The first step in the process is isolating testosterone and its metabolites from the urine sample so you're only looking at them.
