Damn.....I didn't realize Danny Jacobs had cancer

    He's got the heart of a champ! Coming back from having a layoff due to cancer and winning by knockout! Hope all the best for Danny.

    He is a true fighter and also a gentleman. I hope the best for him in the rest of his career!

    The fact that he even got in the ring is a miracle that demonstrated incredible tenacity.

    And just think: When he lost to Pirog, 90% of ESB posters declared him a bum.

    Think about it!!

    He is probably cancer free, but actually it takes five years to be declared cured(unofficial, but I think some companies here will sell you life insurance after 5 years.). But even then...

    It is not uncommon to have a relapse, even after 5 cancer free years. My sister's came back, with a vengeance, after a little over 5 years.
