There's nowt wrong with keeping busy whilst waiting for your shot. It all depends on how long the IBF will give Alexander before his mando is due.

edit: Read the IBF rules, Alexander has 6 months to face Brook.

He made weight very easily this time, after the weigh in Hearn said Kell's nutritionist reckons he could do 140.

I wouldnt be surprised if they fought Khan at a catchweight

It's a bad move if he does this. He needs to make sure his next fight is for the title. Brook has had enough warm up fights.

If Alexander takes a unification fight then that just proves that being mandatory means **** all and this 'IBF route' bussiness was a big waste of time.

Exactly. Why should he have to wait? Either it's made now or the whole idea of being a mandatory is ****ing pointless. And all these eliminators and title shot talk was utter time wasting bollocks.

Personably I just knew this was gunna happen. I want to see Kell Brooks next fight be vs either Devon Alexander for that belt or Amir Khan. If its neither of those then something is seriously wrong. If its Alexander then that needs to happen in February. If its gunna be Khan first then that needs to be April latest

Just a thought.......Alexander vs Bradley rematch unification???

Bradley wins, then Kell will have to fight Bradley for his shot at the IBF.

    Is this likely lads?

having stayed up to watch their first fight, there should never be a rematch and no promoter/tv station would touch it, plus ones GBP the other TR, so they wont face off again, and im not sure Hearn would want to wait that long, it will make them look silly if Brook doesnt get his shot now, plus they dont want anything to do with Bradley yet imo

An IBF 'Absolute Final Eliminator' at Sheffield Arena dubbed 'This is Really It', war Kell! Just a few more fights until the world title!

    Agree mate.

And yeah dont want anything to do with Bradley for the options so they say of not being a world champion and we know what Arum is like with options!... But what I'm saying is that if what I said does happen, then Kell will have no option but to face Bradley for his shot at the IBF.

ye then i spose Kell is fighting for a unified title and thats a better shot, but DA is much easier to beat, so should go for him first i reckon

I know Eddie reads these forums come on Eddie don't let this happen. You will become a laughing stock and tarred with the same brush as other well known promoters that never take risks and always take easy fights. Come on fast Eddie sort it out.

Its Khan in spring then Alexander later in the year. And they are delusional if they think he is coming to the UK.
